Average Residential Sale Prices by District for May 2007

Are you curious to know what the average sale price for your area is?  Here's what was going on last month in Burlington, bear in mind that these figures encompass all residential real estate from condominium apartments/townhouses to single family homes.  For the purposes of real estate Burlington is broken up into 7 districts 30-35 & 38, I will give you the price by district as well as the boundaries of that district.

District 30 (Aldershot area up to Waterdown, west of QEW/Maple area) - Average Sale Price: $353,221

District 31 (West of Guelph Line to Maple Ave south of QEW) - Average Sale Price: $309,572

District 32 (Guelph Line to Burloak south of QEW) - Average Sale Price: $269,938

District 33 (Brant St to Burloak south of New St) - Average Sale Price: $422,655

District 34 (Walkers Line west to Tyandaga area north of QEW) - Average Sale Price: $331,866

District 35 (East of Walkers Line to Burloak north of QEW) - Average Sale Price: $316,349

District 38 (Tremaine West to Cedar Springs north of Dundas/HWY 5) - Average Sale Price: $542,700

These are indeed average prices so don't be alarmed if it doesn't reflect close to the value that you had anticipated for your property.  If you would like more of a detailed comparative analysis on your property I would be happy to provide you with one.  You can reach me at my office 905-639-6111 or via email estcyr@bythelakerealty.com at any time!
